Marie’s dad always referred to me as Northern Vicky because I was the Vicky who lived north of Watford Gap! That, apparently is the cut off point between north and south. I’m still waiting for that question to come up in a pub quiz. Marie’s Dad, and Mum, were always so welcoming to her friends. They even allowed the 80’s crew to set up camp in their back garden one summer for the weekend. We were younger then and quite raucous (not much has changed actually) but Peter and Margaret took it all in their stride. We also had the most delicious breakfasts. Thank you both, now reunited, and I expect, still smiling xxx

I will always remember Helen’s dad (as I knew him!) as a very warm, funny, caring person who was a devoted husband and father and will be greatly missed. I also remember his fondness for his beloved classic car which I can picture on the drive in Pyrles Lane.

It’s been an honour and privilege to look after Peter for years. He was a person with great character and plenty of sense of humour. Our team never had a dull moment in caring for him. Our team will miss you for sure but your memories to us will always be kept in our minds and hearts forever. For now, we say farewell and rest in peace.
